Students who have financial difficulties and are unable to settle the tuition fees during the registration period may apply for a deferment or installment of tuition payment before the payment deadline.
Application Period
- 8 December 2025 to 8 January 2026, before 5:00pm (excluding Saturday, Sunday, and University holidays)
- Late applications will only be considered under exceptional circumstances, and an administration fee of HK$200 will be imposed for late applications.
Application Procedures

- Submit an application and attend an interview, depending on the type of application.
- Type 1 and Type 2 applicants: Interviews are not required. Applicants may submit their applications to the OSA via email (osa_finance@hksyu.edu).
- Type 3 and Type 4 applicants: Interviews are mandatory. An advance appointment for the interview is required.
