The Scholarship was first established in 2011 by Centaline Charity Fund Limited, with a vision to support the livelihood of the disadvantaged and educate young generation. It also aims at recognizing and supporting full-time secondary school graduates in Hong Kong with outstanding academic achievements for their full-time first-year undergraduate degree studies (Year 1) in local, Mainland and overseas universities.
Eligibility
Applicant must:
- be a permanent resident of Hong Kong or have resided in Hong Kong continuously for not less than 3 years and their father/mother must be permanent resident of Hong Kong;
- have completed full-time senior secondary education in Hong Kong;
- have achieved excellent academic results at the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE) or other equivalent public examinations;
- be financially in need;
- show great leadership skills; and
- fulfill all application procedures and admission requirements at the institution of their choices and have been officially admitted by local, Mainland or overseas universities.

中原慈善基金奬學金是由中原慈善基金有限公司設立而成，目的是用作奬勵及協助應屆香港全日制成績優異的高中畢業生，在本港、國內或海外大學繼續升學，並於2025-26學年，首次修讀大學一年級全日制學士學位課程。
申請資格
- 完成香港全日制高中教育課程；
- 香港永久居民或居港最少滿三年及父／母是香港永久居民；
- 高中教育公開考試或等同考試成績優異；
- 家庭經濟有需要；
- 具領導才能；及
- 辦妥本港、國內或海外大學各項申請手續和符合入學條件，並獲書面取錄。
