The MTR will continue to offer concessionary fares to eligible students in 2024/2025 through the MTR Student Travel Scheme. Full-time HKSYU students who are aged under 26 are eligible to apply. To enjoy MTR concessionary fares, students must apply for the MTR Student Travel Scheme and possess a Personalized Octopus or Personalized Mobile Octopus with valid “Student Status”.
