The Animal Welfare Care Society aims to raise awareness among students on campus about animal issues and foster positive character traits, including Responsibility, Consideration, Respect, and Care (2Rs + 2Cs). Our goal is to enhance students’ understanding and interest in animals. While some may view it as imprudent to proactively love and care for animals, we firmly believe that every life deserves respect. Unfortunately, the issue of animal welfare is not widely acknowledged in Hong Kong society. As college students, we have a social responsibility to advocate for and raise awareness about animal issues on campus and in the wider community.
